Very professional service. I had tried using an over the counter product to clear my ears as I was finding it difficult to tune into conversations going on around me. They had a limited success. I contacted Almond Hearing and after a quick chat I was given a cancellation for that afternoon. On arrival everything was explained very clearly. I was able to see the inside of my ears on a screen and then treatment began. It was noisy but very gentle. I was given a commentary on what was taking place. The wax was in quite deep so irrigation was needed to clear the final pieces. Again everything was explained clearly. Eventually my ears were completely clear and the difference was instant. I was very impressed with the service and professionalism I encountered. I would heartily recommend Almond Hearing if you have any hearing issues. ~ Frank B

After years of being badgered that my hearing was bad I decided to get my hearing tested. Almond Hearing had good reviews and was next to my Chiropractor so I popped in and made an appointment. The process started off with a full hearing check by Frazer and a discussion about the results. Over the next 8/10 weeks I trialed two types of hearing aids and then back to the first one to try again. Frazer was very patient with me through this process. New aids were ordered and are now fitted and adjusted. At no time during this process have I been under any pressure to purchase and Frazer makes you feel at ease and definitely makes sure they are the best suited to you . Had a sudden problem with my hearing due to ear wax. Slightly concerned about the usage and risks of microsuction technology. My previous experiences were based on old school syringe methods. Happy to say that Peter was very reassuring and discussed the various options and benefits of the new Vs old techniques. The explanations were very clear and the before and after video images help distil the mystery of the ear canal. Peter took great care to explain fully what was going to happen and possible sensations so there were no unexpected surprises. Peter used various techniques to resolve my problem and I never felt that time was an issue, resolution of the problem was the main priority. I would recommend anyone to use Almond. I visited Almond Hearing today for removal of ear wax and was impressed by the ease of the process and delighted by the outcome. After more than 4 weeks with very limited hearing and having tried various nasal sprays and ear drops without success, I can once again hear normally, following treatment. The equipment used for wax removal is very advanced, allowing me to see, on screen, the build-up of wax in my ears before treatment and the perfectly clear ear canals after treatment. Ruth was very friendly and professional, explaining everything that she was doing and answering any questions I had. I have had problems with my ears for a long time , and was told about Almond Hearing . I swiftly made an appointment, and went through to the lovely clinic was very clean and fresh. I was taken into the treatment room by Pete , I was put at ease straight away , which for me is unusual, as I get very stressed in theses situations, they showed me by a small camera , the wax in my ears, they went on to methodical remove it without out any pain or mess , just a bit of crackling and popping in my ear. I am now hearing so much better and the whole process was very professional and pleasant. I highly recommend the professional and friendly staff at Almond Hearing and I will be back. ~ Tristan K

Have worn Hearing aids for over 50 years and was aware my Hearing was deteriorating significantly. Initially chose Amond Hearing as it was fairly local. After a thorough testing of my Hearing it was decided to try a new Hearing aid. This was done and after a month's trial I bought a new Hearing aid. As I had previously worn two Hearing aids it would have been fairly easy to recommend I buy 2 aids but this didn't happen. Now I can hear better than I have done for over a decade. Frazer and I identify problems and discuss solutions - no pressure and no hard sell. Matter sales service has been excellent and I cannot recommend Almond Hearing too highly. ~ Samjess C

“Don’t put anything smaller than your elbow in your ear” Yes we all know we shouldn’t …. But I did …. Ended up blocking my ears with wax after trying to clean them with a cotton bud ! Appointment made and on arrival I was met by very caring and pleasant staff, covid safety checks carried out and questionnaire answered - gave me a very safe and comfortable feeling. After a visual examination of my inner ears, the procedure required was explained to me and off we went. A very simple procedure was carried out with no fuss or pain in just a few minutes. So ears cleaned out …. 🎶🎶 I can hear clearly now the wax has gone 🎶🎶 Would I recommend Almond Hearing…. Absolutely! ~ Greg C

My husband has lost hearing on one side during an accident over 20 years ago and, following traumatic experience, hasn’t seen an audiologist in 17 years. What was meant to be very uncomfortable experience that brings bad memories, was such an ease due to Frazer’s professionalism and knowledge. He had various options and suggestions for us, but, most importantly, we felt that Frazer actually cared about us and wanted to provide the best care possible. I have also had my hearing checked and it was such a smooth experience. Huge thanks to Fraser and the team at Almond Hearing Clinic for looking after me while I was having difficulty with an ongoing ear infection. They were so kind, compassionate and attentive helping me through a difficult time when I was experiencing a lot of pain, discomfort and anxiety. I visited Almond Hearing today to check if I needed wax removal, I was greeted by Susie on reception, she was very welcoming and put me at ease. I was then met by Anne who showed me into her consultation room. The room was nicely decorated and the whole place smelt amazing. Anne checked my ears and showed me the inside of my ears with a camera, explaining where the ear drum was, why there was a light showing through it and where the bone was. Anne explained my ears were very clean and no wax removal was needed! Super friendly and helpful staff. I really felt better after my visit and reassured that my ears are fine. This was my first time visiting Almond Hearing for an ear wax removal. First contact was to make appointment. I believe first impressions are very important and I couldnt fault Almond Hearing. I spoke with Val initially and explained I experience chronic anxiety visiting new places where procedures are carried out. Val was extremely reassuring and so lovely. When I arrived at the clinic I was greeted by Karen who was so lovely and was very reassuring. I was already feeling anxious and she just spoke with until I went through to get procedure done. So thank you for your kindness Karen. Fraser, the audiologist who did the earwax removal was so reassuring and always checked in with me ensuring I was okay. I found Fraser to be very approachable and friendly. I definitely felt looked after and this made a huge difference to my experience. Fantastic customer care guys. I recently had a fitting for in-ear hearing protection, and couldn't have had better service. Fraser was extremely professional and friendly, explaining every step of the process, including letting me know if a step was going to be uncomfortable or noisy. He took the time to make sure that everything was right (including wax removal) before taking the impressions of my ears. Can't wait to get the finished product, and would thoroughly recommend Almond Hearing to anyone looking for good service. I can't recommend Almond Hearing enough. Fraser is an outstanding Audiologist. He made sure I was 100% happy with my hearing aids, giving me ample time to trial two types of aids to see which ones suited me best. Regularly checking in to see how I was getting on. Tweaking the programs until they were just right for my needs. The after care and customer service is second to none. Fraser is very approachable and I would have no problems contacting him with any questions or queries. His lovely wife Susan is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. My first review was sent a couple of months ago (or so I thought), this is a follow-up. When I needed to see Peter for a quick tweak to my hearing aids it was really easy to get an appt which suited me and so simple to fix. The receptionists are friendly and great to chat/laugh with. My Mum had an appt with Frazer and she was delighted with her visit. I definitely made a good decision becoming a client at Almond Hearing. Why? The first audiologist I saw in Edinburgh advised at my hearing test that I needed hearing aids then tried to push me into buying them before I even had digested the fact I needed them. Like most men of a certain age, I stubbornly deferred getting tested for declining hearing. Eventually I contacted Almond at Clarkston and I am so glad I did. The service from Ian and Karen was first class. A welcoming receptionist, Karen made my appointment and the service from Ian was quite simply outstanding. He tested my hearing using the very latest technology, in a relaxed atmosphere, reproducing a wide range of test hearing environments (noisy restuarants, in-car white noise, etc) to accurately guage where my audio deficiencies were. Test aids were supplied for several weeks before I purchased my current aids, and over several visits, he carefully adjusted my new hearing aids to give crystal clear audio, in environments where I had previously been struggling to hear. Simply outstanding! The service is very friendly, relaxed, and without any pressure to buy hearing aids. Most definitely the place to go if you are suffering hearing loss. I had a large buildup of wax in one of my ears which eventually affected my ability to hear. Almond Hearing were able to book me in very quickly to get it sorted, which I was extremely grateful for. Took my 90 year old dad here on the recommendation of a friend, and so glad I did. First class service from the lady who syringed his ears. What a difference this has made to his hearing. From the very first consultation my dad was treated with dignity and respect, and everything explained to him. We were also able to view, on screen, the condition of his ears before and after the procedure. The lovely receptionist outside also very kindly chatted to my mum while she waited. As someone who had previous experience of both private and NHS audiologists, I can absolutely vouch for the 5-star service provided by Frazer. He and Susie went several extra miles for me to secure the most suitable hearing aids and additional equipment for me to use at work. They are very friendly, pleasant and highly professional people and their premises are extremely well equipped, stylish and comfortable. I cannot recommend them and their approach highly enough. Val was so friendly, down to earth & welcoming, I felt super relaxed when I visited even though I was a little nervous beforehand! Peter was also super friendly & I felt comfortable knowing I was in safe hands. He took the time that it needed to get my ears back to being able to hear (I had a blocked ear with ear wax - don't use cotton buds!). I visited Almond Hearing today as I could not hear out of one of my ears for a couple of months now . I knew it was a build up of wax as I have been bothered with this in the past . The service was excellent .Keith who was at reception was very friendly and Ruth who removed the wax was also very friendly . Ruth explained everything to me and then proceeded with the treatment .. Contacted Almond Hearing today about getting wax removed from my ears, managed to get an afternoon appointment following a cancellation and got the wax out via a suction tool. Quick, painless and before and after pictures from inside my ear to show the difference...which was amazing. Frazer was very friendly as soon as I walked in the door, explained the process to me and worked professionally and efficiently. Would have no hesitation in recommending.
